Trump Coin Falls 13% Amid US Mint Coin Demand Surge
The Trump coin has fallen by about 13% over the past week, despite the release of a new physical dollar coin by the US Mint. The coin was released on September 2 and some products have already moved to backorder due to high demand from collectors.
Despite the collector demand for the physical coin, the memecoin has not seen a corresponding increase in value. In fact, it has faced fresh selling pressure after team-linked wallets transferred millions of tokens to major exchanges.
The token's price is currently around $2 and technical analysis suggests that support lies between $2.15 and $2.20. A rebound through the $2.40 area could improve the short-term structure for TRUMP, while a stronger recovery could put $2.60 back in play.
AlphaPepe, on the other hand, has seen its price surge despite being in presale at $0.02902. The token has already raised over $2.6 million and has more than 11,500 holders before public trading. LATOKEN has been announced as the fourth CEX partner for AlphaPepe, with additional exchange announcements expected before launch.
AlphaSwap, an AI-powered DEX, is also set to launch in Q1 2027 alongside AlphaPepe. The exchange-linked model has sparked comparisons to BNB, which began through an ICO and later benefited from Binance's expansion into one of the biggest trading platforms.
