A token called Trump Digital GOLD briefly appeared on the online presence of Real Trump Coins before collapsing. The company, linked to former US President Donald Trump, denied any involvement with the token and blamed its promotion on 'third-party bad actors'. In a statement on X, Real Trump Coins said it had not authorized or launched any digital tokens.

The controversy began when the Real Trump Coins X account promoted the Solana-based token on Saturday. The posts were later deleted, and the account now links to a separate domain, TrumpCoins.com.

Real Trump Coins is working with authorities to investigate the matter, according to its statement. It emphasized that it would not launch, promote, or authorize any digital tokens.
