This is not the first time Trump has held such a dinner; he previously hosted similar events at the Trump National Golf Club and Mar-a-Lago.
The invitation to the event, shared on the GetTrumpMemes.com website, promises an evening with '3 Legends and President Donald J. Trump.' The top 29 buyers of the coin will receive VIP access to a reception with the president, while the four highest donors will be given an 18-karat Trump brand gold watch.
Trump's memecoin has faced significant backlash since its launch, with prices plummeting by as much as 98% in some cases. In July, CNN reported that at least 740,000 people had lost money after investing in the coin. Despite this, Trump claims to have made a profit of $635 million from his involvement.
