Trump Family’s Bitcoin Miner Suffers Third Straight Quarter of Losses
American Bitcoin, co-founded by the Trump family, has posted losses for three consecutive quarters. The company announced a net loss of $57 million for the second quarter, with revenue rising slightly from $62 million to $67 million.
The stock price is down over 90% from its peak, and the decline in Bitcoin prices has continued to put pressure on the valuation of American Bitcoin's assets.
Despite market headwinds, the company continues to improve its mining operational efficiency and expand its hashrate. Eric Trump, Chief Strategy Officer, stated that 'Bitcoin never moves in a straight line,' and emphasized the company's cost advantage over other miners.
