Trump Invests in Crypto-Related Companies, Including Largest Bitcoin Holder
US President Donald Trump has made several notable investment moves, including purchasing shares of Strategy, a public company with significant Bitcoin holdings. The transactions were disclosed in a recent filing by the Office of Government Ethics, which revealed that Trump bought between $50,001 to $100,000 worth of Strategy Class A shares on July 27.
This purchase comes after a smaller buy on July 24 and a small sale on July 8. Strategy's founder and chairman, Michael Saylor, is a well-known Bitcoin bull who recently resumed the company's BTC purchases after a three-week break.
The company has been buying up large quantities of Bitcoin since June 2026, with its latest purchase bringing its total holdings to 846,000 BTC as of September 20. In comparison, Twenty One Capital holds just 43,514 BTC.
In addition to his Strategy shares, Trump also made transactions involving Coinbase Global Inc, CleanSpark Inc, and MARA Holdings Inc, among others. His largest disclosed sales were between $5 million and $25 million in Microsoft and Amazon shares on July 20.
