A Solana-based token called Trump Digital GOLD was promoted by Real Trump Coins, a brand linked to US President Donald Trump. The token's launch was touted on X by the Real Trump Coins account, which Trump follows.

The Real Trump Coins website still advertises GOLD, promising to use 99% of trading fees to buy back the token and aiming to make it a top-10 crypto asset by market capitalization.

However, Lookonchain flagged the launch as suspicious due to the developer's control over 82.45% of the total supply and noted that the team sold their tokens for $330,000 within hours of its launch.
