A token tied to the fast-growing launchpad Robinhood Chain has surged in price, sparking interest and speculation among traders. The token, known as $PONS, broke through a resistance level that had held for weeks on real volume, not just a thin spike. This sudden increase in value is attributed to three key factors: scarcity, adoption, and exchange access, all of which have aligned at the same time.

The team behind Pons confirmed that 29% of the total $PONS supply has been burned, with 80% of platform revenue being funneled into buybacks. This shrinking supply is chasing rising demand, a dynamic that markets notice and respond to quickly. Additionally, Pons rolled out live cbBTC pairing support, allowing creators to launch tokens backed by Bitcoin through Coinbase and Chainlink CCIP.

This move taps into over $7.5 billion in Bitcoin-backed assets, with creators earning over $19.1 million on Pons since its release. The platform also accounts for over 63% of Robinhood Chain launchpad volume, contributing to the surge in demand for $PONS.
