Trump-Linked Crypto Firm Promotes AI Platform with Restricted Chinese Models
A cryptocurrency venture tied to Donald Trump's family is directing investors towards artificial intelligence models developed by Chinese technology giants currently facing US export restrictions.
WorldClaw, an AI services platform integrated into World Liberty Financial's ecosystem, offers access to 43 models from companies including Alibaba and Baidu. The platform accepts payments in the USD1 stablecoin and the WLFI governance token, creating a direct financial bridge between American crypto investors and Chinese tech firms designated as strategic competitors by Washington.
The business model relies on a crypto-to-compute relay system, where investors purchase WLFI tokens or the USD1 stablecoin to generate credits on the WorldClaw platform, which are then spent to query models from Baidu, Alibaba, and Z.ai. This structure effectively circumvents traditional fiat payment gateways that might block transactions to entities on the US Department of Defense list of Chinese military companies.
