Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), under new management, has decided to distance itself from cryptocurrencies. The company's Interim CEO Kevin McGurn stated that TMTG wants to adopt a more focused strategy, citing that the digital asset treasury market has largely reached saturation point in the past year.

The company had previously announced plans to build a publicly traded company on the Cronos blockchain and the $CRO token. However, this initiative, known as the $CRO Strategy, has been mutually terminated with Crypto.com due to current market conditions and evolving business priorities.

TMTG is redirecting its resources towards media operations and its planned merger with fusion energy company TAE. The company will also continue to operate America First ETFs, managed by Yorkville America and operating under the Truth Social Funds brand.
