Trump Media Moves 2,628 Bitcoin Amid Scrutiny of Crypto Ventures

Trump Media & Technology Group moved 2,628 Bitcoin into Crypto.com-linked wallets on August 2. The transfer reduced the company's tracked balance to 4,261 Bitcoin, worth approximately $270 million.

The four reported transfers between May and August reduced Trump Media's tracked holdings by 7,281 Bitcoin across seven months, representing a 63% decrease from its earlier wallet balance.

Lookonchain identified the transactions using Arkham Intelligence wallet labels, but neither the company nor Crypto.com confirmed that the deposits represented completed sales. Public filings have not confirmed the latest transfers as sales, and exchange deposits can precede sales.

The movements followed two previous transfers totaling 2,650 Bitcoin on May 22, which were estimated at $205 million when recorded. The company's first-quarter 2026 filing described a broader treasury structure than direct wallet balances showed, covering Bitcoin, related securities, pledged assets, and derivative instruments.
