Trump Meeting Boosts Bitcoin to Six-Month High
Bitcoin surged 5.4% on Wednesday to reach its highest level since early June, climbing above $68,300.
The rally came ahead of a meeting between US President Donald Trump and executives from cryptocurrency companies, including Coinbase and Blockchain.com.
The White House meeting is expected to focus on establishing a more industry-friendly regulatory framework for the US digital asset market.
Additionally, a Securities and Exchange Commission proposal that would exempt certain digital asset offerings from securities registration requirements also contributed to the optimism in the crypto space.
