Trump Meme Coin Investors to Dine with President in Exclusive Event

President Donald Trump is set to meet with the top investors of the $TRUMP meme coin at a high-end dinner event at the Trump National Golf Club in Potomac Falls, Virginia. The event, billed as 'the most exclusive dinner in the world,' will take place on November 22 and will feature a private reception with the president for the top 29 investors.

The top four investors will receive a special 18K gold Trump watch, while the other attendees will receive a 'TRUMP Fragrance, Commemorative Poster and a Commemorative Trading Card and a Fight Fight Fight Trump special Watch.'

The event has raised concerns among ethics watchdogs, who say that businesses and individuals are buying the meme coin to curry favor with the administration. However, a White House official dismissed the notion, saying that no attendee will receive a private meet-and-greet with the president and that there is no promise of official government action in exchange for attending.

The $TRUMP meme coin debuted on January 17, 2025, and has been a subject of controversy, with nearly a million people incurring a total of $3.81 billion in losses through the end of June. Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren and Richard Blumenthal have written a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission urging an investigation into the meme coin.
