Former US President Donald Trump is set to host an exclusive dinner with top investors of his meme coin, $TRUMP, at the Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia on November 22. The event marks the third such gathering since Trump's return to office and will include 185 prominent investors, alongside three VIPs whose identities have not been disclosed.
The top 29 investors will receive invitations to a special VIP reception with Trump, sparking criticism that the events are 'pay-for-play' schemes. Financial disclosures indicate that Trump earned approximately $635 million from these 'Celebration Coins' in 2025, part of a larger reported income of $1.4 billion derived from his overall cryptocurrency portfolio.
Trump's foray into the meme coin sector began in January 2025, coinciding closely with his inauguration, and saw the coin's value spike to over $44 at its peak. However, it has since suffered a significant decline, now trading around $2.
