TRUMP Memecoin Offers Dinner Event for Top Holders Amid 97% Price Crash
The TRUMP memecoin is hosting another dinner event for its top holders, offering a chance to meet President Donald Trump and other celebrities. The event, scheduled for November 22 at Trump National in Washington, D.C., will feature a time-weighted leaderboard to determine eligibility.
The leaderboard scores participants based on the number of tokens they hold and how long they retain them during the measurement period, which runs from September 30 to November 12. The top 185 holders will qualify for dinner, with the top 29 receiving VIP reception and front-row dinner seating.
The event page lists a number of prizes for participants, including an 18K gold Trump watch for the top four VIP holders, as well as fragrance, a commemorative poster, a trading card, and a Fight Fight Fight watch for all attendees. However, it's worth noting that the project's terms warn that promotional events do not mean the company has stopped disposing of tokens under its previously announced plan.
The TRUMP memecoin has seen significant losses in recent times, with prices falling 97% from their peak near $73-$75 in January 2025 to around $2.04 on October 1. According to Nansen's analysis, combined holder losses total $3.81 billion across 988,905 wallets through the end of June.
