Trump Memecoin Team Unloads 8.4M Tokens on OKX Amid SEC Scrutiny

The Trump memecoin team has moved nearly 8.4 million TRUMP tokens to OKX, worth around $18 million, since September 18.

This follows a recent unlock of 28.7 million TRUMP, or 2.9% of supply, which is one of 34 scheduled through December 2027.

The team's actions have been scrutinized by U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Richard Blumenthal, who asked the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to investigate the token last month.

TRUMP has lost significant value, trading near $2.13 at press time, down 97% from its peak of $73.43 in January 2025.
