Trump Reports Nearly 1.2 Billion Dollars from Crypto Ventures
President Donald Trump reported nearly USD 1.2 billion in revenue from crypto ventures last year, according to a federal financial disclosure filed with the Office of Government Ethics. The filing revealed that Trump earned over USD 500 million from World Liberty Financial token sales and more than USD 600 million from CIC Digital LLC meme coins. The document also highlighted income from Trump-branded goods, such as watches, though it did not provide profit figures.
The disclosure noted that several Trump-linked crypto products experienced significant declines after their launch. World Liberty Financial tokens, for example, dropped 80% in value after trading began in September 2025. Similarly, Trump souvenir coins, which initially surged to over USD 74, later plummeted to USD 1.68. Investors faced substantial losses while Trump’s reported revenue remained unaffected.
The White House maintained that Trump’s business interests were managed by a trust run by his sons, asserting there were no ethics concerns. Trump himself stated that the largest gains came from stocks, describing the results as part of a broader market rise. The filing, however, showed crypto as the biggest revenue source, overshadowing property and product sales.
In addition to crypto income, the disclosure revealed expansion in overseas property agreements, generating tens of millions in fees from projects in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Romania, and Qatar. The report also noted that domestic properties like Mar-a-Lago saw a 50% revenue increase, partly due to visits by heads of state and business figures. The disclosure offered a broad view of Trump’s expanding business revenue, raising questions about investor losses and potential conflicts of interest.
