The TRUMP token team has withdrawn approximately $3.39 million in USDC from liquidity pools on Solana over a period of 10 hours, according to on-chain tracker Lookonchain.

This operation took place amid a rally in the token, driven by a broad improvement in the crypto market, and sparked a debate over insider practices behind the project.

The team used a mechanism where tokens are deposited in one-sided positions on Meteora and traders gradually convert them into stablecoins. Once the conversion was complete, the stablecoins were withdrawn from the pool.

This structure has been used on previous occasions, with similar withdrawals taking place in April 2025 and December of that same year. By late June, nearly one million TRUMP buyers were sitting at a loss, with combined realized and unrealized losses estimated at $3.81 billion.
