Financial news has revealed that US President Donald Trump's cryptocurrency ventures generated nearly $1.2 billion in earnings last year.

The Office of Government Ethics filing disclosed over $500 million in earnings from World Liberty Financial, a crypto venture featuring 'governance tokens', and another firm, CIC Digital LLC, brought in more than $600 million from sales of Trump-branded 'meme' coins with his image.

Forbes estimates Trump's net worth at $6 billion, up from $2.3 billion in 2024.

Crypto expert Joe Rogan recently spoke out about the earnings on his podcast, calling it 'nuts'. He also criticized the administration for using the UFC Freedom 250 event to promote their cryptocurrency ventures.
