Trump's Crypto Fortune Raises Concerns About Conflicts of Interest

Share

US President Donald Trump has made billions from crypto deals, while his administration promotes the industry. His family's company, World Liberty Financial, has received a banking license and is collaborating with the Hong Kong-based platform WorldClaw.

The partnership raises questions about potential conflicts of interest, as Trump's administration has imposed restrictions on Chinese AI companies, including those whose technology is being used by WorldLiberty. However, there is no indication that this collaboration is illegal.

Trump denies having any conflicts of interest and claims he does not speak with the people who manage his assets. The White House also stated that there are 'no conflicts of interest' regarding World Liberty and WorldClaw.
