Trump's Crypto Fortune Surges to $2.2 Billion Amid Licensing Deals and Branded Merchandise
Donald Trump's wealth has come under increased scrutiny since his return to the White House in 2025. According to a financial disclosure, the US president raked in over $2.2 billion in 2025.
The majority of this revenue came from cryptocurrency businesses, with almost $1.2 billion generated in 2025. This includes over $500 million in earnings from World Liberty Financial's crypto venture and more than $600 million from CIC Digital LLC's Trump-branded 'memecoins' bearing his image.
Trump Media and Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social, launched Truth API in early August. The service offers early access to posts by the US president on the platform for a price, with over 10 customers signed up at $60,000 to $100,000 per month.
The Trump Store has also seen significant revenue, launching at least 622 Trump-branded products since his second inauguration. This includes items such as T-shirts, a pickleball paddle for $180, and Trump coffee pods for $18.
