US President Donald Trump's involvement in cryptocurrency has sparked controversy once again. Senator Elizabeth Warren criticized the latest version of the Clarity Act, claiming it does not adequately prevent the president from profiting from his crypto-related activities.

The bill proposes to prohibit the President, Vice President, members of Congress, and their spouses from issuing or sponsoring digital assets while serving in office. However, Warren argued that the legislation lacks sufficient safeguards to stop Trump from benefiting financially from cryptocurrency ventures.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson agreed with Warren's concerns, stating that the president should not actively participate in financial markets due to his unique position of power and information. He emphasized that stronger safeguards are necessary to prevent potential conflicts of interest and preserve public confidence in cryptocurrency policymaking.
