Trump's Financial Accounts Make Big Crypto Plays in July
President Trump's financial accounts made significant trades in July, according to a recent disclosure. The transactions included purchasing up to $115,000 worth of Strategy shares and selling shares of bitcoin miners MARA Holdings and CleanSpark.
The disclosure shows that the President's accounts bought Strategy stock at its lows in late July. On July 24, they purchased another $1,001 to $15,000 of Strategy, along with Coinbase shares in that range. Three days later, on July 27, they invested between $50,001 and $100,000 into Strategy.
On July 29, the accounts sold $15,001 to $50,000 each of MARA Holdings and CleanSpark. The report lists 1,156 July trades in total, with a trading value of roughly $79 million to $270 million, according to CNBC's calculation.
