Trump's Investment Report Reveals Coinbase and Strategy Purchases
US President Donald Trump's periodic transaction report has revealed some interesting investment decisions. The document, released by the US Office of Government Ethics, shows that Trump purchased Coinbase shares between $1,001 and $15,000 on July 24. He also bought Strategy shares in the same price range on July 24 and between $50,001 and $100,000 on July 27.
The report also lists a sale of Strategy shares between $1,001 and $15,000 on July 8, as well as sales of CleanSpark and MARA Holdings shares. These two companies are publicly listed bitcoin miners that Trump sold shares in for between $15,001 and $50,000 each on July 29.
The White House has clarified that the portfolio is independently managed by third-party financial institutions and that neither Trump nor his family can direct or influence investment decisions.
