U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Hyperliquid (CRYPTO:HYPE) saw its price soar by 11% on August 19 after President Donald Trump mentioned it at a White House crypto summit.

The president stated that the chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) was working to create a path for Hyperliquid to operate legally in the U.S., where it currently blocks U.S. users due to securities and trading regulations.

While this positive development has contributed to Hyperliquid's price increase, which is now 50% higher than just 30 days ago, investors should exercise caution.

No filing has been made with regulators, and there is no public docket or registration application on file for Hyperliquid at the time of writing.
