Trust Wallet Cuts TRON Transaction Costs with Tronify Integration
Trust Wallet has integrated Tronify's energy rental service to make TRON transactions cheaper for its users.
The non-custodial wallet now offers users the option to rent Energy from Tronify's pool on a per-transaction basis, rather than staking their own TRX or watching it burn as payment. This can result in up to 40% savings on transaction costs compared to standard network fees.
The integration is designed to be invisible and automatic, with the wallet checking whether renting Energy would be cheaper than paying standard network fees before presenting users with the option. Users can choose to pay with either TRX or USDT, which is a practical touch given that many TRON users primarily hold stablecoins rather than the native token.
The delegation process typically completes within 3-5 seconds, and Tronify operates as a non-custodial service, meaning it never takes control of user funds. The savings can be substantial, with Tronify claiming users can save between 70% and 97% compared to directly burning TRX.
