U.S. Bitcoin ETFs See $89.8 Million Outflow on October 5
U.S. spot Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced a net outflow of $89.8 million on October 5, marking a reversal from the previous day’s $189.9 million inflow. Despite this daily decline, the five-day net flows remained positive at $120.3 million, indicating sustained interest in these investment vehicles.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) saw the highest inflows, attracting $69.9 million. Conversely, ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) and Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) recorded the largest withdrawals, with $85.2 million and $74.5 million in outflows, respectively.
Since their launch, the cumulative net flows for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have totaled $57.767 billion, reflecting significant investor engagement. Other funds, including BITB, BTCO, EZBC, BRRR, HODL, BTCW, MSBT, GBTC, and BTC, reported no net flow on October 5.
