U.S. Government Confirms Bitcoin as Unsellable Asset
Capital B CEO Alexandre Laizet recently stated that the U.S. government views Bitcoin as an asset it will never sell, a stance that reinforces its growing role among corporations and financial institutions worldwide.
This move from Washington sends a strong signal to the market, confirming Capital B's strategy of buying and holding Bitcoin long-term.
The company plans to acquire as much Bitcoin as possible, as quickly as possible, and hold it indefinitely, mirroring the government's own refusal to part with its holdings.
Laizet noted that most global capital remains confined to traditional securities markets through equity and debt instruments, but publicly listed companies like Capital B have a unique route around this limitation by issuing shares and debt to buy more Bitcoin.
