U.S. Stocks Soar on AI Hopes, Crypto Rebound
U.S. stocks were set for a stronger start Monday as falling oil prices and improving U.S.-China trade sentiment supported technology, artificial intelligence, and crypto-related shares.
The moves came as semiconductor stocks benefited from renewed interest in AI-related companies following the latest U.S.-China discussions.
Intel Corp. rose more than 5% to become one of Monday's strongest large-cap technology movers, while AMD climbed about 2.7%. Meta Platforms was also higher, rising around 2.7%, as investors remained focused on its recently launched Muse personal AI agent.
