U.S. XRP ETF Loses 60% in Value Since Launch
The first U.S. XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF), REX Osprey XRP ETF, marked its one-year anniversary on September 18, 2026, but has unfortunately seen a significant decline in value since its launch.
Launched on the same date in 2025, the XRP price had dropped to $1.33 by press time from its initial trading price of approximately $3.08. The fund itself also saw a drop in value, falling from $25.73 at launch to $10.57.
Despite this decline, the fund still holds around $46.2 million in net assets. The broader XRP ETF context is also showing signs of improvement, with historical net inflows reaching approximately $1.71 billion and holding about 1.7% of XRP's market value.
