UAE Approves Capital.com for Regulated Spot Crypto Trading

Share

Capital.com has secured a UAE crypto license ahead of its planned spot trading launch. The company's affiliate, Capital Vault UAE, received approval from the UAE Capital Market Authority on August 21.

The new license allows Capital Vault to deal in virtual assets as an agent or matching principal and provide regulated custody services for eligible clients.

Capital.com can now offer direct crypto ownership alongside its existing leveraged trading products. The company's planned UAE service will give customers the option to buy and hold actual cryptocurrencies through the Capital.com application.

The new spot crypto operations will be separate from Capital.com's CFD business, with Capital Vault managing transaction execution, asset settlement, and custody.
