UK Home Invasion Targets Couple's Crypto Assets

Share

Police in the UK are investigating a brazen home invasion that targeted a couple's cryptocurrency assets. On December 13, three men broke into a house in Smith's Wood, Birmingham, at around 5:20 p.m.

The attackers seriously injured the husband and threatened his pregnant wife with a bladed weapon, forcing her to transfer a substantial amount of cryptocurrency. The suspects then stole several luxury watches before fleeing in a black BMW X3.

Police are investigating whether the attack was premeditated, suggesting that the perpetrators may have targeted the couple specifically for their crypto assets.
