$UMIA Onchain Auction Opens for Umia's Native Token
Umia has launched its native token $UMIA through an onchain auction on its platform. The early-bid window is live, and a public round opens to everyone from August 29th to September 2nd via Base at umia.finance.
The platform's goal is to create a framework for tokens as real financial primitives by integrating IP, operating teams, and treasuries into one structure. Every project launched through Umia operates within a single legal wrapper with its assets under one management system.
$UMIA has a total supply of 50 million tokens, with 40 million allocated at launch. Of these, 61% is in circulation, covering the 17.3 million tokens sold in the Tailored Auction and treasury allocations. The remaining 10 million form a performance reserve that unlocks if milestones are met.
Umia CEO Francesco Mosterts said 'Serious ventures have never had a framework to launch a token aligned with their project.' Umia expects its first external projects to begin launching in September, pending completion of onboarding and legal review.
