$UMIA Token Auction Opens on Umia's Full-Stack Platform
Umia, a full-stack platform for launching and governing projects onchain, has opened its token auction for $UMIA. The first token launched through Umia's own system, $UMIA is designed to be a real financial primitive, with its treasury and governance running through decision markets.
The early-bid window for the auction, which started August 26th, is now live, and will run until August 29th. After this period, a public round opens to everyone from August 29th to September 2nd on Base via umia.finance.
$UMIA has a total supply of 50 million tokens, with 40 million allocated at launch. This includes 17.3 million sold in the Tailored Auction, which carry no lockup, as well as treasury, liquidity, and incentive allocations held by the protocol.
The platform's main goal is to bring to life a framework that makes tokens real financial primitives, with every project launched through Umia structured as a Sub Company within a Cayman Segregated Portfolio Company built on the MetaLex BORG framework.
According to Francesco Mosterts, CEO of Umia, 'Serious ventures have never had a framework to launch a token aligned with their project. With Umia, the legal structure, the treasury, and the markets that govern it are a single system.'
