Undervalued Altcoins: Analysts Identify Top Picks for 2026
Solana (SOL), Chainlink (LINK), and XRP are among the top undervalued altcoins to watch in 2026, according to analysts. Despite months of weak price action across the crypto market, these large-cap assets continue to show signs of life.
Solana is viewed as the strongest recovery candidate, with U.S.-listed investment funds attracting nearly $1 billion in assets since their launch in October 2025. Institutional investors, including hedge funds and investment advisers, hold nearly half of this amount.
The project's largest network upgrade to date, Alpenglow, is expected to improve transaction finality from 12.8 seconds to around 150 milliseconds, significantly reducing settlement times. However, challenges remain, with Solana's daily network revenue falling by nearly 80% due to decreased memecoin trading activity.
Chainlink is another project identified as undervalued, with its infrastructure expanding across traditional finance despite its price lagging behind. The network enables banks and financial institutions to connect with blockchain networks without replacing their existing systems, partnering with firms like SWIFT and UBS.
XRP benefits from legal clarity, with the SEC lawsuit largely resolved. The asset now has seven U.S.-listed investment funds, which have attracted nearly $1.5 billion in cumulative inflows since launch. Daily transactions on the XRP Ledger have risen to around 3 million, roughly three times the level seen in mid-2025.
