UNDP Partners with DFINITY for Government AI and Cloud Project
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has partnered with the DFINITY Foundation to develop government-based AI and cloud systems. The coalition will run for a year, testing the effectiveness and safety of customized AI and cloud infrastructure in public services.
The project will focus on three areas: educational platforms, public software development, and enabling government self-custody in secure software deployment. Five countries will participate in the pilot, each presenting a national problem that can be solved with Web3 technology.
Despite this significant partnership, ICP is down 0.88% in the day, trading at $2.39. The downturn is due to technical resistance and potential 'sell the news' reaction to the UN collaboration. If ICP holds above the $2.35 support, it could retest at $2.50.
