UNI Token Trading Volume Surges Tenfold Amid Robinhood Chain Partnership
Uniswap's UNI token saw its trading volume surge tenfold in January, according to Bitget. The protocol's Uniswap v2, v3, and v4, as well as UniswapX, have been serving as the main AMM for Robinhood Chain since day one.
As of August 31, DefiLlama data shows that Robinhood Chain's total TVL has exceeded $700 million. Uniswap earned $4.29 million in fees over the past 24 hours, accounting for nearly half of Robinhood Chain's fee revenue during that period.
The daily trading volume for stock tokens on Robinhood Chain reached a new high at around $130 million, up roughly ten times from the previous month, with v3 and v4 trading volumes nearly equal. Token Terminal provided this data.
Over 110 million UNI have been burned as of August 31, with a cumulative value of $630 million. Since August, over 100,000 UNI have been burned on multiple single days, with daily burn value exceeding $400,000 on average, and Robinhood Chain contributing nearly half of this amount.
