Uniswap Clears SEC Hurdle as Compliant Trading Gets Green Light

Uniswap has received a green light from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to engage in compliant trading on its Uniswap v4 platform. This development triggered two fresh wallets to withdraw $8.38 million worth of UNI tokens from major exchanges Binance, Bybit, and OKX.

The price action shows that UNI is currently trading at $8.02, testing the upper resistance level of the Bollinger Bands. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicates overbought territory with a reading of 78.91. As a result, a measured pullback to the EMA50 support level at $6.59 appears likely.

The technical indicators point towards a potential correction before the next leg higher for UNI. The MACD golden cross is at 0.33 and the EMA200 floor is at $5.59. Traders are now factoring in the regulatory catalyst into their short-term volatility exhaustion targets.
