Uniswap Launches Earn Feature, Allowing Users to Earn Yield on Idle Assets
Uniswap Labs has launched Uniswap Earn, a new product on the Uniswap App that allows users to earn yield on idle assets. This is made possible through Morpho, an open credit network connecting lenders and borrowers to onchain credit markets.
Morpho's integration into Uniswap aims to change the way users handle their digital assets, which often sit idle. With Uniswap Earn, users can put these balances to work directly within the app, turning dormant holdings into productive ones without any lockups or loss of self-custody.
The product comes with three Morpho Vaults curated by Gauntlet, which are integrated natively into the Uniswap interface. Users can deposit their assets into these vaults, where they will be allocated to underlying lending markets on Morpho and made available to borrowers. The interest earned from these deposits is then paid out to users as yield.
Anthony Beshay, staff product manager at Uniswap, sees this move as a natural next step for the platform. He notes that Uniswap Earn gives users a simple way to put their assets to work without needing to manage concentrated liquidity positions. Paul Frambot, co-founder and CEO of Morpho, adds that every integration like this strengthens Morpho's open network.
