Uniswap Price Breaks Falling Wedge Pattern, Eyes 80% Rally to $12.70
Uniswap's (UNI) price has broken out of a massive falling wedge pattern, indicating potential for an 80% rally to $12.70. The token hit an intraday high of $7.065 on September 17, exceeding its June lows by over 200%. This breakout coincides with changes to UNI's underlying economics, including the implementation of the UNIfication proposal in December 2025.
The proposal introduced a mechanism that permanently removes tokens from circulation through protocol fee burns. In September, approximately 184,000 UNI worth around $1.15 million was burned in a single day, further reducing circulating supply.
Uniswap has also expanded its presence across the blockchain ecosystem, extending to Robinhood Chain and Circle's Arc network. This expansion has resulted in increased trading volume and liquidity. Large holders have shown signs of accumulating UNI, with Arthur Hayes' wallet acquiring approximately 284,000 UNI worth around $2 million.
However, the token faces a key technical barrier at the $7.78 200-week EMA. A decisive weekly close above this level could confirm additional upside momentum and put the $12.70 region in focus.
