Uniswap Price Tests Cup-and-Handle Setup Near $10.30
Uniswap's price has been testing a possible cup-and-handle setup near $8.92, as its September rally cools. The rounded recovery from the November 2025 peak through the June 2026 lows and back toward September's highs is a key feature of this pattern. The two sides of the formation meet near $10.30, where a horizontal resistance line crosses the chart. This setup is a type of reversal pattern, where a rounded bottom forms before a breakout. A move above the handle's upper boundary would be the first bullish step, followed by a test of $10 and the broader resistance near $10.30. A sustained daily close above the rim would strengthen the breakout case.
The daily momentum has weakened during the retreat, with the MACD line reading 0.769, below its signal line at 0.916. The relative strength index stands at 60.27, above the neutral 50 level but below its average of 68.40. This leaves the daily chart with positive momentum, while the gap beneath its average reflects the recent slowdown. On the downside, the descending structure extends toward approximately $8.00-$8.50. A break through its lower boundary would weaken the handle setup and put that area in focus before another attempt at the cup's rim.
