Uniswap Revenue Surges Amid Protocol Fee Expansion
Uniswap's revenue growth is outpacing its fee growth, according to recent data. Over the past 30 days, Uniswap's fees have increased by 129%, while protocol revenue has risen by 165%. This surge in revenue is primarily due to the introduction of protocol fees, which capture a portion of transaction fees through the burning of UNI tokens.
The expanded applicability of protocol fees across chains and versions is driving this growth. Incremental transactions are mainly concentrated in these pools, contributing to the increased revenue. Additionally, Uniswap's tokenized stock trading volume on the Robinhood Chain has reached $2.6 billion, accounting for nearly all related transactions on that chain.
