Upbit and Bithumb Delist Storj, JasmyCoin, ThunderCore Amid Sustainability Concerns
Korean crypto exchanges Upbit and Bithumb have announced they will delist three assets on September 14. The affected assets are Storj (STORJ), JasmyCoin (JASMY), and ThunderCore (TT). This decision follows earlier warnings issued by the exchanges, which remain unresolved according to the platforms.
The exchanges cited project sustainability and transparency concerns as reasons for delisting. Storj Labs has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy despite continuing its decentralized storage operations. ThunderCore disputes the exchanges' concerns about its network and operations.
Trading for these affected pairs will cease at 3:00 p.m. KST on September 14, with users given until October 14 to withdraw their assets from the exchanges. This move reflects ongoing stricter post-listing reviews by Korean exchanges to ensure project viability.
