Upbit Delists Bonk Amid Security Concerns

The South Korean exchange Upbit will delist Bonk (BONK) on September 7, citing unresolved security concerns and inadequate disclosure of material information.

Upbit cited a security incident whose cause remained unidentified or inadequately addressed during its review. The exchange also pointed to delays in disclosing information that could materially affect traders and token holders.

The move removes BONK from one of South Korea's largest retail trading venues, potentially reducing local liquidity after September 7. However, the decision does not immediately block holders from moving their tokens elsewhere.
