Upbit Exchange Drops ICON Due to Unresolved Security Risks

The Upbit exchange in South Korea has decided to delist ICON's native token, citing unresolved security risks. The trading support for ICX against the Korean won will end on October 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. KST.

ICON was placed on the exchange's investment caution list in late August 2026 after a replay attack occurred on its network, releasing a large volume of tokens and knocking it offline for about a day.

The platform has consistently applied this caution-then-delisting process to other assets facing unresolved risk flags. ICON holders have two deadlines to track: trading access ends on October 19, while withdrawal access stays open until November 18.
