The cryptocurrency community is abuzz after South Korea's Upbit flagged Sophon (SOPH) for review due to concerns over disclosures and changes to its token circulation plan.

The exchange suspended SOPH deposits while keeping existing spot markets open during a review, which identified 'numerous deficiencies' and a 'potential for user harm.'

Binance also announced it will remove seven USDC trading pairs on September 25, citing poor liquidity and trading volume. However, users can continue trading the underlying assets through other supported Binance spot markets where available.
