Upbit Removes Trading Warning for Sandbox
South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has lifted its trading warning for Sandbox (SAND), allowing users to trade the altcoin once again. The exchange issued a trading warning on August 24, 2026, due to a security incident that posed a risk of user losses.
After receiving documents from the Sandbox team detailing the course of the security incident and measures taken afterward, Upbit conducted a review. Following their assessment, the exchange determined that the reason for the warning had been addressed.
The trading warning was lifted on October 2, 2026, covering the SAND/KRW and SAND/BTC trading pairs. Upbit also announced that it would resume deposit services soon.
Users should be aware that price differences with other overseas exchanges following the resumption of deposits could lead to sharp price movements.
