Upbit Surpasses Coinbase in XRP Spot Volume
Upbit, a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, saw unusually strong XRP activity on Thursday, Sept. 24. The exchange recorded higher XRP spot volume than U.S.-based Coinbase in a 24-hour comparison.
According to the data, Upbit's XRP spot volume reached $224.22 million, compared with $173.38 million on Coinbase. Binance ranked first among the exchanges in the comparison with $306.13 million in XRP spot volume.
The figures highlight the strength of XRP trading on Upbit, which accounted for 15.57% of the exchange's total activity. The weekly XRP volume on Upbit was approximately $1.71 billion.
