Upbit Temporarily Suspends BERA Deposits and Withdrawals Amid Berachain Network Upgrades
Upbit, one of South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, will temporarily suspend BERA deposits and withdrawals on August 5 at 11:00 a.m. UTC. The move is part of Upbit's routine maintenance and network upgrade procedures.
The suspension is related to Berachain's ongoing development activity, including its proof-of-liquidity consensus mechanism and recent upgrades aimed at improving scalability and user experience.
During the suspension window, BERA deposits and withdrawals on Upbit will be unavailable. However, trading pairs are expected to remain active, allowing users to buy and sell BERA without interruption.
Traders should complete any pending BERA transfers before the cutoff time, as attempts to deposit or withdraw after the suspension may face delays until the exchange resumes services.
