US-China Summit and Crypto Upgrades Set to Dominate Global Markets This Week
This week's economic calendar is packed with significant releases that could impact markets worldwide. On Tuesday, New York Fed President John Williams will deliver a speech, which may provide insights into the US central bank's thinking.
The main event, however, is the US-China leaders' summit on Thursday, during which market closures in South Korea and China may create increased volatility due to overlapping trading sessions.
On the crypto side, several projects are undertaking major upgrades or activations, including Avalanche (AVAX) Helicon mainnet activation, Zilliqa (ZIL) ZKP migration tool launch, Injective (INJ) Meridian mainnet upgrade, and token unlocks for various assets, such as Gram (GRAM).
The US economic data releases include the September flash manufacturing and services purchasing managers' indexes, crude oil inventories, and initial jobless claims. The Japanese market will be closed on Monday.
