Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong is warning that the US risks falling behind other major economies in crypto regulation. In an X post on August 21, he urged the US Senate to move quickly on crypto legislation.

Armstrong noted that most G20 countries have adopted or are developing crypto frameworks, leaving the US as an outlier.

The UK recently established its own regulatory framework for crypto trading. Armstrong called for federal rules to give the industry clearer guidance and preserve the country's position in global finance.
